Privacy policy
The short version
- Grid Gamble has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your progress, scores and settings stay on your device. We do not receive them.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show and measure them. You decide whether those ads are personalised.
- The No Ads purchase turns off ads in the game.
- Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.

2. What stays on your device
To remember your game, Grid Gamble saves this on your phone or tablet only:
- your progress: rank, scores, streaks, achievements, Adventure stars and the boons and traps you have found
- your settings, such as sound, music, vibration and theme
- which themes you own and whether you bought No Ads
- a count of recent long games, used to decide when the next ad is due
None of this is sent to us. If you delete the app, it is deleted with it. You can also erase your progress in Settings › Erase all progress.
3. Advertising
Grid Gamble is free to play and shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited. An ad plays before a new game after you have finished two longer games. Ads never interrupt a game in progress.
To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads software in the app collects data from your device and sends it to Google:

Personalised ads are chosen using what Google knows about your interests from other apps and websites. They are shown only if you agree. If you do not agree, you see non-personalised ads, which are chosen using only the app and your approximate location. If you refuse all storage of data on your device, Google shows limited ads, which use as little data as possible.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent the first time you open it, through Google's consent form. On iPhone, Apple also asks whether Grid Gamble may track you. Our legal basis for personalised ads and for storing data on your device is your consent. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, and may transfer it outside the European Economic Area under safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

4. Your ad choices
- Change your consent at any time in the game's Settings › Ad privacy.
- On iPhone, turn tracking on or off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- On Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings under Google › Ads (or Privacy › Ads).
- Buy No Ads in the game and it shows no more ads. The ads software then stops requesting ads.
5. Purchases
Themes and No Ads are bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive only a confirmation of which item was bought, never your name, card or payment details.
6. When you contact us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply to you, and we delete the conversation once your question is resolved, at the latest two years after your last message.
7. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Like any website, our hosting provider handles your IP address to deliver the pages and may keep it briefly in server logs for security.
8. Children
Grid Gamble is made for players aged 13 and over. The game has no accounts and sends nothing to us, so we hold no data about any player, children included. Ads in the game are limited to content suitable for general audiences. The only way we could receive a child's details is by email; if a child has emailed us, a parent can ask us to delete that conversation.
9. Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for access to your personal data, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you. You can also object to its use and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.
We hold very little data about you. For data held by Google for ads, use the choices in section 4 or My Ad Center. For anything else, contact us at info@friik.ee; we respond within one month.
You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) at www.aki.ee, or to the authority where you live.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what the game collects, for example by adding online features, we update this page and the date at the top first. When a change matters, the game tells you about it too.
