Terms of use
The short version
- Grid Gamble is free to play, with ads. Themes and No Ads are optional one-time purchases.
- Purchases and refunds go through the App Store or Google Play.
- Your progress lives on your device. Purchases can be restored, progress cannot.
- Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Friik OÜ, the Estonian company that makes Grid Gamble (our company details are in the privacy policy). By installing or playing Grid Gamble, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
On Apple devices, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of its consumer law.
2. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install Grid Gamble on devices you own or control and to play it for your personal, non-commercial use. The game, its art, sound, music and name belong to Friik OÜ.
You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game, take it apart to get at its code or assets, or change it to cheat or to get purchases without paying, except where the law allows you to.
3. Purchases
- What you can buy: themes for the board and No Ads. Each is a one-time purchase; there are no subscriptions.
- Payment: Apple or Google takes the payment at the price shown in the store when you buy, and the item is unlocked immediately.
- Refunds: ask Apple or Google, under their refund rules. We never receive your payment, so we cannot refund it ourselves.
- Restoring: if you reinstall the game or move to a new device with the same Apple ID or Google account, use Settings › Restore purchases.
4. Ads and No Ads
The free game shows ads from third parties before some new games, as described in our privacy policy. Ads never interrupt a game in progress. We do not control what is advertised and are not responsible for advertisers' websites or apps.
No Ads removes the ads the game shows. It does not affect ads anywhere outside the game.
5. Your progress
Your progress and settings are saved only on your device. They do not move to a new device, and they are lost if you delete the app or lose the device. We cannot recover them.
6. Changes
We keep working on Grid Gamble. Updates may add, change or remove features, levels or rewards. Themes and No Ads you bought stay yours for as long as we offer the game. If we ever stop offering it, we will try to give notice in the game.
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the game before it takes effect.
7. What we cannot promise
We make Grid Gamble with care, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or available. As far as the law allows, the game is provided as it is, and we are not responsible for lost progress (see section 5). Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
